HE Anglo Saxon Trouser
From our Friends at Historic Enterprises
Speculative construction of Dark Ages trousers are cut on the published Regia Anglorum pattern. Loose fitting legs with gusseted crotch for freedom of movement, drawstring waist tie. Further research indicates this gusseted version may be the correct design of the Skjoldenhamn trousers (rcd 1029), rather than the ungusseted reconstruction in Nockert.
Made of heavy linen.
Generously cut garment- order smaller size for a closer fit, larger size for fuller fit.
One size fits waists up to 40" waist, 34" inseam.
Large fits waist up to 50" waist, 36" inseam.
Please note: Colours for this range have been carefully matched to natural dye samples. Please refer to the Fabric Colours, Weaves and Information section. Black warp/brown weft tabby weave shown.
This product has been developed in consultation with the Authenticity Officers for Regia Anglorum in the US and UK, as well as the Authenticity Officers for the Vikings UK and NA. Although it is policy for both groups to avoid giving blanket endorsements to vendors, this garment conforms to current Regia Anglorum and Vikings kit standards.
