Medieval Boot

$ 105.00

The Medieval boot is derived from the Stepping through Time: Archaeological Footwear from Prehistoric Times until 1800 and is classified as a front laced (Type 60) and a instep toggle fastening (Type 35). Found in Dordrecht, Maastricht, and Vlaardingen, Konstanz, and most of Europe, this is a classic 14th Century boot. The Medieval Boot is representative of many similar types of boots dating from 1150 to 1500.  It is very similar to the Konstanz buckle boot (Type 85).   The Medieval boot is the perfect generic nobleman's boot of the Middle Ages.
