Historical Accuracy: The Medieval Military Pouch is very similar to those detailed by the Museum of London's Dress Accessories - Medieval Finds From Excavations in London, as one of the types of a leather purse with flaps. It is based on photos from The Medieval Soldier, by Embelton & Howe.
The Medieval Military pouch features a leather buttoned belt loop for easy removal, you can take off your pouch without taking off your belt! The front flap closes using a period style double oval buckle shown in the Museum of London's Dress Accessories book. It has one main compartment and two baglets on the front. The belt loop also forms an open pocket in the back to put a knife with the sheath so that the handle is accessible.
