Historical Accuracy: 14th Century Belt Pouch, small, featured in the Museum of London's Dress Accessories - Medieval Finds From Excavations in London, the 14th Century Medieval Pouch shows up in many period illuminations from the late 13th to the early 15th century. Characterized as a "leather purse with flaps," it was common in the period to adorn the medieval purse lids with pilgrim badges from various travels to help keep the lid closed. I have added a period buckle and strap system to keep it closed.
